Question:
Does a story always have to show a change in the main character even if that main character is the antagonist rather than the protagonist? In other words if the story is about the antagonist’s journey and it is a journey we want them to fail at, can the story end with the antagonist still having their same strong views which led to the entire story? Can the change be something that happens to the antagonist to change their life and make it worse rather than their internal change as needs to happen with the protagonist?
